This position is a Project Architect role responsible for leading the technical development, coordination, and management of large-scale healthcare facility projects, ensuring design integrity, compliance, and quality throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of technical aspects and content for a healthcare facility project.
Manage project technical and production processes from pre-design to completion.
Coordinate multidisciplinary work to ensure integrated deliverables and compliance.
Develop and oversee project schedules, work plans, and budgets in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Identify, communicate, and resolve project-related issues and risks.
Guide and assist in the development and management of project quality plans and documentation strategies.
Ensure design intent is accurately translated through technical documentation and construction phases.
Integrate building performance and sustainable design goals into the project.
Monitor project documentation for contractual compliance and quality standards.
Lead coordination of all disciplines to align with architectural design intent.
Oversee construction administration activities, including RFIs and submittals.
Supervise and mentor project team members to maintain technical quality and standards.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required
Minimum 10 years of related professional experience required
Experience must include 5 years in increasingly responsible roles in construction documentation on institutional and/or commercial projects
At least 3 years in a responsible role in construction administration on large institutional or commercial projects
Previous experience on large, complex projects
Current Architectural Registration in the United States required
Demonstrated focus on quality
Knowledge of building codes and requirements
Must possess business acumen
Must have strong client leadership skills
Must have strong technical leadership skills for production team
Must be capable of leading and mentoring less experienced staff
Must have advanced knowledge in discipline
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software
Travel required
