The Project Architect will lead the development and coordination of architectural projects, ensuring technical quality, design integrity, and client satisfaction while managing team collaboration and project delivery within a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design, production, coordination, and detailing of architectural projects
Coordinate engineering systems with engineers and consultants
Prepare design sketches of site plans
Communicate project status, design intent, and updates to stakeholders
Participate in business development activities
Perform field site observations and visits
Develop and maintain client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
Integrate sustainable and performance-based design strategies into projects
Implement project delivery processes using CannonDesign Method and best practices
Supervise, train, and mentor interns and junior team members
Ensure technical quality and compliance through QA/QC processes
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required.
Minimum 8 years of related professional experience required.
Current Architectural Registration in the United States required.
Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
Must possess business acumen.
Must be a critical thinker.
Must be highly analytical.
Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
