Job Description
The Project Architect will lead the design, coordination, and technical development of architectural projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and integration of sustainable strategies while managing client relations and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, production, coordination, and detailing of architectural projects
- Coordinate engineering systems with engineers and consultants
- Prepare design sketches for site plans
- Communicate project status, design intent, and updates to stakeholders
- Participate in business development activities
- Perform field site observations and visits
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Integrate sustainable and performance-based design strategies
- Implement project delivery processes and best practices
- Supervise and mentor interns and junior team members
- Ensure technical quality and compliance through QA/QC standards
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required.
- Minimum 8 years of related professional experience required.
- Experience on healthcare projects strongly preferred.
- Current Architectural Registration in the United States required.
- CDT and LEED accreditation preferred.
- Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
- Must possess business acumen.
- Must be a critical thinker.
- Must be highly analytical.
- Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
- Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
