Job Description
This position involves designing plumbing and fire protection systems, assisting with HVAC designs, creating BIM models using Revit, reviewing project documents, and supporting construction administration for educational, healthcare, and commercial projects within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design uncomplicated piping and equipment selection for Plumbing and Fire Protection systems under supervision
- Assist with HVAC system designs as needed
- Create Revit BIM models of construction drawings for plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC systems
- Edit specifications for existing and new projects
- Review submittals and shop drawings for compliance with contract documents
- Research and respond to emergent issues related to projects
- Draft reports for review by professional engineers
- Gather information and assist in responding to RFIs and reviewing change orders
- Conduct site visits to verify conditions and observe construction progress
- Coordinate specific activities related to project elements
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor in Engineering or Bachelor in Technology required.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience required.
- Experience on international projects is preferred.
- Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs i.e. Revit required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to effectively handle multiple projects.
