Job Description
This position involves designing plumbing and fire protection systems, assisting with HVAC designs, creating BIM models using Revit, reviewing project documents, and supporting construction administration for educational, healthcare, and commercial projects within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform designs of uncomplicated plumbing and fire protection systems for building projects
- Assist with HVAC system designs as needed
- Prepare Revit BIM models of plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC systems from schematic design to construction phases
- Edit and review project specifications and submittals for compliance
- Research and respond to emergent project issues
- Draft reports for review by professional engineers
- Gather information and review change orders and RFIs during construction
- Conduct site visits to verify conditions and observe construction progress
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor in Engineering or Bachelor in Technology required.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience required.
- Experience on international projects is preferred.
- LEED accreditation preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to effectively handle multiple projects.
- Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs i.e. Revit required.
