This role involves designing plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC systems for various construction projects, managing project details from schematic design to construction, and collaborating with clients and team members to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design and direct plumbing and fire protection systems, including ductwork, piping, and equipment selection.
Prepare Revit BIM models of construction drawings for plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC systems.
Review shop drawings for compliance with specifications and contract documents.
Coordinate with clients and project team members, attend meetings, and respond to RFIs and change orders.
Conduct site visits to verify conditions and observe construction progress.
Requirements
Possess an Associate degree in a relevant field.
Have a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
Current CPD, PE, or FPE certification in the United States is preferred.
LEED accreditation is preferred.
Must possess a working knowledge and experience in engineering design programs such as Revit, Trane Trace, or Trane 3D Plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously.
