This senior leadership role involves developing and executing strategic plans to grow and enhance the Los Angeles office of CannonDesign, focusing on business development, client engagement, brand elevation, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive design culture.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead a high-performance, diverse, and inclusive leadership team for the Los Angeles office.
Create and implement a strategic business plan to support office growth, branding, and client engagement.
Drive office growth by supporting new business opportunities and achieving top line revenue targets.
Lead strategy development and execution to advance entrepreneurial opportunities, market solutions, and impactful design.
Enhance the office's market presence and brand through community and marketplace engagement.
Champion Living-Centered Design ethos in culture, client interactions, and community involvement.
Foster a design-focused culture emphasizing diversity, equity, inclusion, and innovation.
Identify, assess, and develop client leaders and oversee client engagement processes.
Build and strengthen the office's leadership team and expand impact and growth potential.
Mentor and develop future leaders and staff through coaching, engagement activities, and talent assessment.
Ensure adherence to best practices in project management, risk management, and office profitability.
Represent office leadership in firm-wide meetings, communicate initiatives, and foster collaboration.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 20 years related experience with a proven track record of business development success and top line growth.
Licensure is preferred.
Additional certifications and/or training relevant to this role is preferred.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Business acumen and proven ability to execute strategy.
Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully.
Some travel required.
