This role is a senior specialist position in architecture or design, focusing on leading health projects through technical expertise, client and team leadership, innovative planning, and sustainable design integration, with responsibilities including project development, coordination, and communication.
Key Responsibilities
Lead high-level health project initiatives, providing technical expertise and innovative solutions.
Collaborate with project teams to plan, program, and develop architectural drawings and specifications.
Lead user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and assess space utilization.
Communicate planning concepts effectively to clients, designers, and project teams through reports and presentations.
Develop project scope, plans, and services during contract negotiations.
Integrate sustainable design solutions into projects.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide guidance to team members.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree.
Minimum of 10 years of related experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the health market.
Previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects in the health market.
Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
Must have advanced knowledge in the discipline.
Must possess business acumen.
Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to lead less experienced team members.
Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam software.
Licensure or registration in the United States (preferred).
LEED accreditation (preferred).
