Job Description
This role is a senior specialist position in architecture and design, focusing on health projects, where the individual leads project planning, client and team collaboration, develops innovative solutions, and ensures high-quality project delivery with sustainable design integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-level health project initiatives, providing technical expertise and innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with project teams to plan, program, and develop architectural drawings and specifications.
- Lead user group meetings to gather and refine project requirements and assess space utilization.
- Communicate planning concepts effectively to clients, designers, and project teams through reports and presentations.
- Develop project scope, plans, and services during contract negotiations.
- Integrate sustainable design solutions into projects.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide guidance to team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the health market.
- Previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects in the health market.
- Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
- Must have advanced knowledge in the discipline.
- Must possess business acumen.
- Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to lead less experienced team members.
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam software.
- Licensure or registration in the United States preferred.
- LEED accreditation preferred.
