This role involves leading planning and programming efforts on health projects under a Licensed Architect, providing technical expertise, developing innovative solutions, and collaborating with project teams to translate client needs into architectural plans and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead programming and planning for health projects, including developing and refining space utilization and planning concepts.
Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise and communicate planning ideas effectively.
Lead user group meetings to gather and assess program needs.
Assist in developing architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation based on planning concepts.
Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects.
Develop and maintain client relationships and provide guidance to design teams.
Participate in developing project scope, plans, and services during contract negotiations.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree required
Minimum 8 years of related experience required
Prior experience performing as a subject matter expert on Health projects
Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of building codes and requirements
Must possess business acumen
Must be a critical thinker
Must be highly analytical
Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work
Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with the project team and client is essential
Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam required
