Job Description
This role involves leading planning and programming efforts on health projects under a Licensed Architect, providing technical expertise, developing innovative solutions, and collaborating with project teams to translate client needs into architectural plans and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead programming and planning for health projects, including developing and refining space utilization and planning concepts.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise and communicate planning ideas effectively.
- Lead user group meetings to gather and assess program needs.
- Assist in developing architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation based on planning concepts.
- Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects.
- Develop and maintain client relationships and provide guidance to design teams.
- Participate in developing project scope, plans, and services during contract negotiations.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree required
- Minimum 8 years of related experience required
- Prior experience performing as a subject matter expert on Health projects
- Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of building codes and requirements
- Must possess business acumen
- Must be a critical thinker
- Must be highly analytical
- Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work
- Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with the project team and client is essential
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam required
