The Experiential Graphic Designer IV is responsible for leading the conceptual and creative development of complex experiential graphic design projects across various markets, collaborating with teams and clients to create innovative environments that communicate brand identity and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead conceptual and design development across multiple experiential graphic projects.
Mentor junior team members in technical skills, art direction, and storytelling.
Translate client needs into compelling design concepts that reflect their mission.
Execute projects from strategy to final design, including storyboarding and detailed solutions.
Develop documentation for graphic programs, signage systems, donor recognition, and exhibits.
Manage project teams and coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and outside consultants.
Review and approve shop drawings and submittals during construction phases.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or related design field required.
Minimum of 10 years of related experience required.
Exceptional design portfolio demonstrating a strong background in a variety of markets.
Strong typography skills.
Robust communication skills and proven strategies for collaborating in fast-moving, complex project teams.
Strong knowledge of signage and wayfinding design and methodology.
Deep understanding of all aspects of experiential design required.
Strong client leadership and technical leadership for production team large, complex projects.
Ability to perform work with a high degree of latitude, demonstrating critical thinking, high analytical skills, and business acumen.
Proficient in project management.
Attention to detail is a must.
Proficiency on Mac in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign required.
Skills in Revit and SketchUp are a plus.
