Job Description
A student intern position involving electrical design of lighting, power, communication, and fire alarm systems, supporting project documentation, site visits, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team under the guidance of a licensed engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, communication, and fire alarm systems.
- Prepare technical design documents and reports from concept to detailed design.
- Review and mark up shop drawing submittals.
- Visit job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress.
Requirements
- Enrolled in and working toward a Bachelor or Master s degree in Engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs such as Revit MEP and SKM Power Tools
