Job Description
This role involves leading and developing the Education Market in Dallas by driving business growth, managing client relationships, leading project teams, and promoting the firm's design philosophy, with a focus on strategic market expansion and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead high-performance, diverse teams focused on the Education Market.
- Create and execute the Market Business Plan to drive market growth and differentiation.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve top-line revenue targets.
- Lead client engagement at high levels, managing project-specific work and fostering long-term relationships.
- Enhance the market's brand through external speaking, writing, and promotional activities.
- Support practice development by mentoring staff, recruiting talent, and fostering a high-performing team culture.
- Advance strategic initiatives, market differentiation, and client pursuit strategies.
- Collaborate on business planning to improve client engagement, market growth, and profitability.
- Manage the overall top-line results of the market, aiming for specific revenue and profitability goals.
- Assess market trends, identify growth opportunities, and demonstrate expertise in evidence-based design.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- Current Registration Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering is preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience with a proven track record of strategic growth, market and team leadership, and business development success in the Education Market.
- Strong presentation skills are essential.
- Exceptional client and people leadership skills are required.
- Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully are essential.
- Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy are needed.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
- Must be able to demonstrate sound judgment and a sound approach regarding risk management and mitigation.
- Some travel is required.
