Job Description

This position involves collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to develop architectural designs, manage Revit models, prepare drawings and details, and coordinate with engineering disciplines under the supervision of a Licensed Architect. It requires creative design skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to contribute to various project phases.

Responsibilities

  • Design, select, coordinate, and detail architectural components independently or with limited supervision
  • Develop and manage REVIT models to produce plans, elevations, and sections
  • Create preliminary design sketches for small to moderate-sized site plans
  • Coordinate project documents with other disciplines and engineers
  • Assist in developing design and concept drawings
  • Review shop drawing submittals under guidance
  • Participate in field site observations and project team meetings
  • Contribute to design and presentation efforts using software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch-Up, Enscape, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture required.
  • Minimum 4 years of related professional experience required.
  • Actively pursuing Architectural Registration in the United States preferred.
  • Proficiency with Revit required.
  • Proficiency with Enscape required.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite required.
  • Strong creative design portfolio is essential.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects are required.
  • Must be able to independently develop and manage the REVIT model to produce plans, elevations, and sections.
  • Must be able to produce REVIT section and plan details within all architectural phases with limited direction.
  • Must be able to prepare preliminary design sketches of small to moderate-sized site plans.
  • Must be able to communicate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of project documents.
  • Must be able to assist in the development of design and concept drawings.
  • Must be able to assist in coordination of engineering systems with engineers.
  • Must be able to review shop drawing submittals with some guidance from the Project Architect.
  • Must be able to participate in the development of project’s technical or design characteristics and content.
  • Must be able to attend and actively participate in project team meetings.
  • Must be able to attend field site observations, which may involve a physical walk-through of the site.
