Job Description
This role involves leading regional operations and business practices across multiple offices within a multidisciplinary design firm, focusing on process standardization, staff development, regional integration, and promoting the firm's Living-Centered Design ethos to deliver client-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional operations and business practices across multiple offices.
- Implement firm’s commercial, legal, and process practices regionally.
- Ensure consistent project management, work planning, contracting, risk management, fee development, and resource management.
- Collaborate with firm-wide teams to address commercial and risk issues.
- Assess, mentor, and develop staff to improve outcomes and success.
- Champion the adoption of project delivery methods, including design technology, quality, and sustainability processes.
- Enhance the firm’s single-firm, multi-office operating model to support client needs.
- Build and lead high-performing, client-focused teams across the region.
- Recruit, assess, and develop regional talent, promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Develop and implement mentoring programs for future leaders.
- Promote and demonstrate Living-Centered Design principles within teams and projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with a proven track record of office management success in the design industry
- Strong communication and leadership skills with regional management experience
- Business acumen and proven ability to execute strategy across multiple locations
- Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully
- Regular travel across the region is required
