Job Description
This role involves leading architectural design and technical development of projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance and quality standards, and contributing to business growth within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, production, coordination, and architectural detailing of projects
- Coordinate engineering systems with engineers and consultants
- Prepare design sketches of site plans
- Communicate project status, design intent, and updates to stakeholders
- Participate in business development activities
- Perform field site observations and visits
- Integrate performance-based and sustainable design strategies into projects
- Implement design processes and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency
- Mentor and guide less experienced team members
- Enforce QA/QC standards and ensure statutory compliance
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required.
- Minimum 8 years of related professional experience required.
- Current NCARB Certification required.
- Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
- Must possess business acumen.
- Must be a critical thinker.
- Must be highly analytical.
- Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical knowledge and coordination skills.
- Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
