Job Description

A licensed architect with at least 6 years of experience, responsible for designing, coordinating, and detailing architectural projects within a multidisciplinary team, while ensuring code compliance and effective communication with clients and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to design, production, coordination, and architectural detailing within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Assist in coordinating engineering systems with engineers and consultants
  • Maintain communication with the Owner and Consultants regarding project status and design concerns
  • Prepare design sketches of moderate to complex site plans
  • Ensure project documents are coordinated across disciplines
  • Evaluate designs for code compliance and assist in plan check review and approvals
  • Perform field site observations and visits
  • Coordinate project assignments with team members
  • Supervise, monitor, train, and direct work of interns and less experienced team members
  • Participate in team meetings and potentially take on leadership roles

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required.
  • Minimum 6 years of related professional experience required.
  • Current Architectural Registration in the United States required.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
  • Must be a fully qualified professional.
  • Must possess technical capabilities.
  • Must be a critical thinker and highly analytical.
  • Must be able to perform work with some degree of latitude and with some ambiguity in work.
  • Strong creative design portfolio is essential.
  • Must have strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects.
