Job Description

The Well Drilling Site Superintendent oversees construction drilling operations at job sites, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency while managing teams, communicating progress, and maintaining project timelines in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage all aspects of construction drilling job sites to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and quality regulations, securing necessary permits and inspections
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor on-site teams, including subcontractors and crew members, to achieve high productivity and work quality
  • Communicate project progress, issues, and delays to project management and clients, providing solutions when needed
  • Modify job site schedules as necessary to meet project timelines
  • Establish effective working relationships at job sites

Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required; Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or similar field is preferred.
  • Own a reliable vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel to various locations as required by the job, including being willing to be away from home Monday through Friday with scheduled Saturdays.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing construction job sites.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to read construction documents.
  • Familiarity with regulatory construction standards.
  • Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships at job sites.
  • Physical ability to meet the physical demands of the position, which is a safety-sensitive role.
  • Pre-employment background check including employment verification, criminal history check, and drug screen is required.
  • Compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA 30 Certification and Construction Supervisor’s License (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Possession of a CDL A license is preferred.

Annual base salary range of $150,000.00 - $180,000.00, potentially modified based on factors such as location, experience, and credentials
