Job Description
This position involves assisting with drilling operations, handling equipment, and performing physical labor outdoors, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in renewable energy and drilling technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with drilling procedures and platform operations
- Handle drill pipe, casing, and auxiliary equipment
- Mix drilling mud and grout
- Demobilize equipment and load/unload materials
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely
- Perform equipment maintenance and keep work area clean
- Conduct inventory stock intake
- Drive company vehicles to and from job sites
- Perform physical labor including lifting, hauling, and digging
- Follow all safety and quality regulations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
- Ability to safely lift weights of 50 pounds overhead.
- Must have an OSHA 30 SST Card, CPR, First Aid, Rigging, and Flagger certification (strongly preferred).
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain CDL.
- Ability to travel to various locations as required by the job, including travel within the greater Northeast Region of the United States (CT, MA, NY, ME, VT, NH, NJ, MD).
- Must be able to obtain coverage under the company automobile insurance policy and have a clean driving record (certain age restrictions may apply).
- Willingness to work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week, with eligibility for overtime pay for hours worked over 40 hours per week.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including hauling, lifting 60-80 lbs., moving, loading, and digging materials and equipment, and standing and bending for extended periods.
- Comfortability working outdoors in all weather elements.
- Willingness to engage in constant physical labor and get hands dirty.
- Ability to perform drilling procedures on the drilling platform and assist with demobilization of equipment, loading/unloading of equipment and material, and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to perform inventory stock intake as required.
- Must be able to meet physical demands of the position, including handling drill pipe and casing, operating auxiliary equipment, and following all safety and quality regulations and instructions.
- Must pass pre-employment background check, criminal history check, and pre-employment drug screen, including compliance with DOT regulations 49 CFR 40.25 for safety-sensitive duties.

Hourly wage range of $35.70 - $37.00 with eligibility for overtime pay
