Job Description
The role involves managing on-site commercial geothermal construction projects, overseeing drilling operations, subcontractors, safety, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary on-site project manager overseeing drilling operations and subcontractor activities.
- Enforce and improve safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines to ensure successful completion.
- Direct involvement in ground-up construction, especially during foundation phase.
- Oversee contract management and coordinate with general contractors and construction teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel to various locations as required by the job.
- Must have SST card.
- Proven experience in managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
- Experience with managing drilling operations and subcontractor activities on-site.
- Demonstrated ability to enforce and enhance safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Proficiency in managing project budgets, schedules, and timelines to ensure successful project completion.
- Experience participating in project reimplementation through mobilization to project completion.
- Experience in direct involvement in ground-up construction, especially during the foundation phase.
- Ability to understand and manage contract components within the larger construction project.
- Effective liaison skills with general contractors and ability to address their requirements.
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with site supervisors, project managers, general contractors, and construction teams to meet project goals.
- Participation in meetings discussing submittals, shop drawings, and project-related matters.
- Physical ability to meet the physical demands of the role, as it is a safety-sensitive position.
- Compliance with drug and alcohol-free workplace policies, including pre-employment background check, criminal history check, and pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with an expectation of an average of 40 hours, including overtime as scheduled.
Benefits & Perks
Salary range of $110,000 to $145,000 with potential for annual performance-based bonus
