Job Description
The role involves managing on-site commercial geothermal construction projects, overseeing drilling operations, subcontractors, safety, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee drilling operations and subcontractor activities on-site
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines for successful completion
- Direct involvement in ground-up construction during foundation phase
- Manage contract components and liaise with general contractors
- Collaborate with site supervisors, project managers, and construction teams to meet project goals
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel to various locations as required by the job.
- Must have SST card.
- Proven experience in managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
- Experience with managing drilling operations and subcontractor activities on-site.
- Ability to enforce and enhance safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines to ensure successful project completion.
- Demonstrated proficiency in contract management, understanding how each component fits into the larger construction project.
- Effective liaison skills with general contractors and ability to address their requirements.
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with site supervisors, project managers, general contractors, and construction teams to meet project goals.
- Experience participating actively in meetings discussing submittals, shop drawings, and project-related matters.
- Proficiency in using Procore software (preferred).
- Experience in commercial mechanical systems and foundation early construction management (preferred).
- This position has supervisory responsibility.
- Must be able to work a minimum of thirty (30) hours per week to maintain full-time status for benefits purposes.
- Must be able to work an average of forty (40) hours per week with overtime as scheduled.
- Work environment includes office setting, work site setting, and hybrid work setting.
- This is a safety-sensitive position requiring pre-employment background check, criminal history check, and pre-employment drug screen.
- Compliance with drug and alcohol-free workplace policies and DOT regulations 49 CFR 40.25 for safety-sensitive duties.
Benefits & Perks
Salary range of $110,000.00 - $145,000.00 with potential for an annual performance-based bonus
Hybrid work setting allowing remote work up to two days per week
