Job Description
The Overnight Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facility, employees, and assets during nighttime hours through surveillance, patrols, and incident response. The role requires attentiveness, clear communication, and calm judgment in stressful situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols of the facility during overnight hours
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity
- Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and emergencies
- Ensure the safety and security of the facility, employees, and assets
Requirements
- The candidate must be able to perform active monitoring of surveillance systems during overnight hours.
- The candidate must conduct regular patrols of the facility during nighttime hours.
- The candidate must exercise steady judgment in response to any incidents that occur during overnight shifts.
- The candidate must maintain a visible presence at the site to deter unauthorized activity.
- The candidate must ensure that the site remains secure during overnight hours.
- The candidate must be attentive and alert throughout overnight hours.
- The candidate must communicate clearly and effectively.
- The candidate must respond calmly in stressful or urgent situations.
- This position requires the ability to work overnight hours consistently.
- The candidate must be able to work in a drug-free workplace environment.
- The candidate must be able to perform the physical demands of patrolling and monitoring the facility during night shifts.
