Job Description
A Scale Operator at Bee Green Recycling Supply serves as the first point of contact for customers, managing load transactions, maintaining positive customer relations, and ensuring compliance with load regulations in a fast-paced recycling facility environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers at the recycling facility
- Develop and maintain positive customer relations
- Ensure compliance with load regulations under the facility's permit
- Operate the scale accurately to weigh materials
- Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for most of the shift
- Take initiative and problem-solve in daily operations
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team
- Prioritize safety in all tasks
Requirements
- Candidates must be trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking.
- Candidates must be able to take initiative, problem solve, and be a team player in a busy recycling facility.
- Position requires standing for the majority of the shift in a very fast-paced work environment.
- Candidates must develop and maintain positive customer relations.
- Candidates must ensure that the facility is in compliance with load regulations under the permit.
- Candidates must be able to work in a drug-free workplace.
