Job Description
A Material Handler - Sorter is responsible for removing recyclable materials from debris in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, assisting customers, and ensuring safe and efficient recycling processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove recyclable materials from debris for processing
- Interact with customers and assist with unloading materials from vehicles
- Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment under various weather conditions
- Lift and stand for the entire shift
- Take initiative and problem-solve as part of a team
Requirements
- Candidate must be trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking.
- Candidate must be physically capable of lifting and standing for the entire shift in all weather conditions.
- Candidate must be able to interact well with customers and assist customers with unloading material from vehicles as allowed.
- Candidate must take initiative, problem solve, and be a team player.
- Position requires the ability to remove recyclable materials out of debris to be processed for recycling in a fast-paced work environment.
