Job Description
The role involves leading the Corporate Engineering team at Aurora, focusing on designing and managing enterprise SaaS ecosystems, driving automation and AI solutions, and providing technical leadership to improve operational efficiency and security across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and provide technical leadership to the Corporate Engineering team of systems engineers and system administrators.
- Architect and oversee a secure, scalable SaaS ecosystem including applications like Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Workspace, and incident management tools.
- Develop and execute long-term strategies and roadmaps for enterprise tooling and automation across various functions.
- Lead the design and implementation of automation workflows and integrations using APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms.
- Guide and review system architecture, ensuring best practices for security, governance, and data management.
- Drive the strategy and deployment of enterprise AI solutions to enhance operational efficiency and capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure seamless delivery of enterprise solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in IT, software engineering, or systems engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading engineering teams in delivering complex, large-scale enterprise applications or platform services.
- Deep, hands-on experience administering and integrating a suite of modern SaaS applications such as Atlassian suite, Google Workspace, Slack, and incident management platforms.
- Strong proficiency in a scripting language, e.g., Python or JavaScript, including Google Apps Script.
- Extensive experience with APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms.
- Experience in implementing and leveraging AI solutions.
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud-native architectures.
- Ability to develop and execute a long-term strategy and roadmap for enterprise engineering functions including tooling for incident management, knowledge and document management, work and project management, analytics and visualization, and communication.
- Ability to design and oversee a scalable, secure, and integrated ecosystem of enterprise applications such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Workspace, OpsGenie, and Firehydrant.
- Experience in building automation and integration workflows using APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms to eliminate manual work.
- Ability to provide technical guidance, review system architecture, and contribute to complex integration and automation projects.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
