Job Description
The role involves leading signal and power integrity implementation for advanced autonomous driving hardware systems, developing simulation methodologies, and validating high-speed electrical interfaces to ensure optimal performance and reliability in autonomous vehicle technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) implementation in autonomous driving hardware systems, sensors, and hardware designs.
- Develop and apply simulation methodologies for PCB, high-speed channels, and SoC to optimize SI and PI performance.
- Model complex 3D structures such as PCB connectors and cables for high-speed interface analysis.
- Extract and characterize high-speed channels and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Validate high-speed interfaces in laboratory settings using advanced testing equipment like VNA, scope, and spectrum analyzers.
Requirements
- Lead Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) implementation in advanced autonomous driving hardware systems, sensors, and hardnesses.
- Develop and implement simulation methodology for PCB, high-speed channel, and SoC to optimize SI and PI performance.
- Model complex 3D structures, such as PCB connectors and cables.
- Extract and characterize high-speed channels and compliance against industry standards.
- Lead high-speed interfaces validation in lab with high-end scope, VNA, and spectrum analyzer.
- Possess an MS or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Degree.
- Have at least 10 years of industry experience.
- Experience with design and implementation of high-speed electrical interfaces, such as PCIe Gen4 and Gen5, high-speed or automotive Ethernet, DDR, LPDDR4/5, MIPI, HDMI, USB, etc.
- Good electromagnetic (EM) knowledge and proficiency with SI/PI simulation tools, such as HFSS, SIwave, ADS, or Cadence Sigrity.
- Solid understanding of transmission line theory, S-parameters, signal processing, PCB material, stackup, and fabrication process.
- Strong lab skills and experience with VNA, real-time scope, spectrum analyzer, TDR, etc.
