Job Description
The Senior IT Technical Program Manager at Aurora is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of large-scale enterprise application projects, ensuring timely and quality execution through cross-functional collaboration and hybrid project management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete project lifecycle for large-scale enterprise application initiatives, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.
- Coordinate communication and collaboration among engineering, product, operations, and other IT teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Apply hybrid project management methodologies (Agile SAFe, Scrum, Waterfall) based on project requirements and team dynamics.
- Work with stakeholders to execute against strategic roadmaps, breaking down initiatives into manageable plans and milestones.
- Identify, track, and escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies, working proactively to find solutions.
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership, ensuring transparency on project progress and potential blockers.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in Technical Program or Project Management, with a focus on enterprise IT or software projects.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of complex enterprise application projects (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS).
- Active SAFe certification (e.g., SAFe Agilist, SAFe Practitioner) with practical experience working in a SAFe environment.
- Strong proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies and experience operating in a hybrid model.
- Hands-on proficiency with JIRA for project tracking, backlog management, and reporting.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
