Job Description
The Program Manager, People Team at Aurora is responsible for driving the execution of strategic programs related to talent and organizational initiatives, managing ambiguity, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring effective change management to support the company's growth and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business problems into project charters and manage their execution
- Identify missing pieces in chaotic situations and create structure
- Align stakeholders, flag risks early, and prevent silos between teams
- Design communication, messaging, and adoption strategies for change management
- Continuously seek process improvements while delivering programs and projects
- Remove blockers, streamline processes, and ensure meetings are actionable to enhance team effectiveness
Requirements
- Proven Program Fluency with experience typically 4 years managing complex programs in a high-growth environment, consulting firm, or large organization, with the ability to show examples of messy projects successfully delivered.
- High Agency Accountability, demonstrating the ability to track, prioritize, and drive projects without needing reminders, and to find ways to get unstuck when stuck.
- Excellent Communication Skills, capable of discussing strategy with senior leaders, coordinating logistics, synthesizing complex data into clear narratives, and providing clear written and verbal communications to employees.
- Tech Data Savviness, comfortable with project management tools such as Monday.com and Jira, and able to use data to inform decisions.
- Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday and Greenhouse is a bonus.
- An Impact Mindset, excited by variety and opportunity for impact, willing to engage in diverse projects such as Talent Management and Culture initiatives based on business needs.
- This is an in-person position, requiring the candidate to work at the Aurora on-site office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at a minimum.
- The position can be located in Mountain View, CA, San Francisco, CA, or Pittsburgh, PA.

Base salary range of 100k - 162k per year
