Job Description

The job involves leading the development and execution of Aurora's global total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and executive compensation strategies, to attract, retain, and motivate talent while ensuring compliance and internal equity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, execution, and refinement of Aurora's global total rewards programs.
  • Design and deliver compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain talent.
  • Oversee executive compensation planning, including preparing materials for the Compensation Committee.
  • Provide strategic counsel on equity programs, pay-for-performance alignment, and market competitiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits.
  • Create and manage salary, bonus, equity, and recognition programs aligned with company strategy and culture.
  • Lead the annual compensation planning cycle, including benchmarking, merit increases, and equity grants.
  • Manage Aurora's benefits and wellbeing programs, ensuring competitiveness and inclusivity.
  • Develop and maintain compensation and benefits analytics to support data-driven decisions.
  • Lead and develop the Total Rewards team, fostering a culture of trust and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 12 years of progressive compensation and benefits experience, including executive compensation leadership in a publicly traded company.
  • Experience supporting Compensation Committees and working directly with board-level stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of compensation structures including base salary, bonus, equity, equity vehicles such as RSUs, PSUs, options, ESPP, and benefits programs.
  • Familiarity with SEC regulations, proxy disclosure, and CD A reporting.
  • Strong modeling, analytics, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience to lead through influence in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
