Job Description

The job involves leading the development and execution of Aurora's global total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and executive compensation strategies, to attract, retain, and motivate talent while ensuring compliance and internal equity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, execution, and refinement of Aurora's global total rewards programs, including compensation and benefits strategies.
  • Drive the design and delivery of salary, bonus, equity, and recognition programs to attract, retain, and remain competitive in the talent market.
  • Oversee the annual compensation planning cycle, including benchmarking, merit increases, bonus payouts, and equity refresh grants.
  • Partner with People Leadership to manage job architecture, pay ranges, market benchmarking, and internal equity guardrails.
  • Oversee Aurora’s benefits and wellbeing programs, ensuring they are competitive, inclusive, and compliant with regulations.
  • Build and maintain compensation and benefits analytics to support data-driven decision-making and ensure transparency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audits, and legal requirements related to compensation and benefits.
  • Support executive compensation activities, including preparing materials for the Compensation Committee and providing strategic counsel to the executive team.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and People teams to ensure alignment across systems, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and develop the Total Rewards team, fostering a culture of trust, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

Requirements

  • 12 years of progressive compensation and benefits experience, including executive compensation leadership in a publicly traded company.
  • Experience supporting Compensation Committees and working directly with board-level stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of compensation structures including base salary, bonus, equity, and equity vehicles such as RSUs, PSUs, options, and ESPP.
  • Familiarity with SEC regulations, proxy disclosure, and CD A reporting.
  • Strong modeling, analytics, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience to lead through influence in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Benefits & Perks

Compensation/salary range: $234,000 - $398,000 per year
Annual bonus eligibility
