Job Description
The Visualization Tools Engineer at Aurora will develop and enhance visualization and debugging tools for the company's self-driving vehicle motion planning systems, collaborating closely with engineers to improve software observability and development workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Build 2D and 3D visualizations for debugging core planner components
- Enhance core planner components to improve observability architecture
- Create tooling to accelerate software development and debugging workflows
- Unify workflows for processing tabular data and log data
- Collaborate closely with core planner engineers to improve system performance and observability
Requirements
- Strong JavaScript or TypeScript experience
- Experience interfacing with product users in a tight feedback loop
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, mathematics, physics, or a similar field
