Job Description
A Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, LLC, is responsible for working on land development, renewable energy, and construction projects by producing detailed drawings, analyzing survey data, and coordinating with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to produce project drawings such as ALTA surveys, final plats, maps of dedication, construction layouts, and staking.
- Review and analyze survey data to assess existing site conditions, including legal descriptions, easements, and condo documents.
- Edit and modify plans based on revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients following directives.
- Support design staff by guiding drafting practices and procedures.
- Coordinate workflow and communicate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to ensure project progress and chargeability goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of previous AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
- Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) is preferred
- High School Diploma is required
- Associated Degree is preferred
- Thorough understanding of ALTA surveys, Topographical surveys, Boundaries, and Construction Staking
