Job Description
A Survey Project Manager at Atwell, LLC is responsible for leading survey projects, managing teams, reviewing survey data, and coordinating with clients to deliver accurate site plans and construction documents across various land development and renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate with a team to draft, review, and finalize site plans and construction documents.
- Review project survey data using industry software and analyze existing site conditions and legal documents.
- Plan, organize, and supervise survey crews, technicians, and office staff.
- Oversee large-scale ALTA surveys related to solar or wind energy projects.
- Provide construction-related services, including permit applications, quantity estimates, and transmittals.
- Organize site plans, construction plans, and related documents.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to complete assignments within standards and budgets.
- Mentor staff, assist with training, career planning, and professional development.
Requirements
- Professional Survey License PLS or PSM
- 8 or more years of survey industry related work experience
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop a growing team
- Prior experience working with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Construction Staking, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collections, Legal Descriptions, Plan interpretations, along with Real Estate Documents
