Job Description
A Survey Project Manager at Atwell, LLC oversees survey projects, manages teams, reviews survey data, and ensures the successful execution of land development and renewable energy projects using advanced technology and industry software.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate with a team to draft, review, and finalize site plans and construction documents.
- Review project survey data using industry software and analyze existing site conditions for development considerations.
- Supervise survey crews, technicians, and office staff to ensure project execution.
- Oversee large-scale ALTA surveys related to solar or wind energy projects.
- Provide construction-related services, including permit applications, quantity estimates, and document organization.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to complete assignments within standards and budgets.
- Mentor and train staff, supporting their professional development and career planning.
Requirements
- Professional Survey License PLS or PSM
- 8 or more years of survey industry related work experience
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop a growing team
- Prior experience working with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Construction Staking, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collections, Legal Descriptions, Plan interpretations, along with Real Estate Documents
