Job Description
The role involves managing land development civil engineering projects, utilizing design software, maintaining client relationships, overseeing project financials, and mentoring junior staff within a dynamic consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage site civil projects from initiation to completion
- Design and analyze projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Vision
- Build and maintain client relationships to ensure project delivery meets expectations
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for firm growth
- Oversee project financials, including billing and invoicing
- Mentor and develop junior staff members
- Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards in project deliverables
Requirements
- Professional Engineer license in Maryland
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Vision technologies
- Proven experience managing commercial and residential land development projects
- Strong client management and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability in business development
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
