Job Description
A Civil Engineering Project Manager responsible for leading project teams, managing client relationships, ensuring engineering quality, overseeing land development projects from start to finish, handling permitting processes, participating in marketing efforts, and mentoring team members within a leading consulting and engineering firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project teams and build strong client relationships from contract procurement to project coordination
- Ensure technical accuracy and quality in site civil engineering projects across various disciplines
- Manage projects from initial entitlement stages through to construction completion
- Handle multiple permitting processes across government agencies with complex strategies and tight schedules
- Participate in marketing efforts to raise company profile and develop client and agency relationships
- Mentor and train team members to foster growth and excellence within the organization
Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. in Civil Engineering from an EAC ABET Accredited University.
- P.E. licensure.
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.
- Candidates with relevant work experience in Washington preferred.
- Ability to build strong client relationships from contract procurement to project coordination.
- Technical soundness and attention to detail in site civil engineering projects, ensuring the highest quality.
- Expertise in land development-related design disciplines including potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, and site grading.
- Experience managing projects from initial entitlement stages through to construction.
- Experience handling multiple permitting entitlements across various government agencies, with local experience considered a plus.
- Ability to manage complex permitting strategies and tight schedules across different project types.
- Active participation in marketing efforts to raise company profile and nurture client and government agency relationships.
- Leadership skills in mentoring and training team members to foster growth and excellence.
