Job Description
The Project Surveyor at Atwell is responsible for managing survey projects, utilizing engineering software, and collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate land surveys and project execution in the real estate, land development, and renewable energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Project Managers during proposal and project planning to establish scope, budgets, staffing, and schedules
- Ensure projects stay on track regarding scope and budget in coordination with Project Managers
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete survey assignments on time and within standards
- Review and adjust survey field calculations as needed
- Communicate effectively with internal staff, contractors, inspectors, and team leaders
- Attend training, industry conferences, and networking events
Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Surveyor.
- Must have an advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collections, Legal Descriptions, and Plan interpretations, along with Real Estate Documents.
- Prior experience with Trimble equipment and Trimble Business Center is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Prior experience working in the field on a survey crew is highly preferred.
