Job Description
The position involves working on site civil engineering and land development projects, managing project lifecycle from design to construction, and coordinating permitting processes while maintaining client relationships and contributing to company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on site civil engineering and land development projects
- Design potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, and roadway design
- Manage projects from entitlements through to construction
- Coordinate various aspects of project development
- Process permitting and entitlements across governmental agencies
- Implement permitting strategies to meet project schedules
- Participate in company marketing efforts and client relationship management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC ABET Accredited University
- PE Licensure (Professional Engineer license) is required
- Demonstrate technical excellence in engineering principles and practices
- Possess expertise in designing potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, roadway design, and related land development projects
- Experience in managing projects from entitlements through to construction, ensuring successful project execution
- Ability to manage and coordinate various aspects of project development
- Experience in efficiently processing multiple permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies
- Ability to utilize local experience to streamline the permitting process
- Implement complex permitting strategies to meet project schedules for large-scale developments and commercial infills
- Active participation in company marketing efforts to enhance the company's profile and foster relationships with clients and governmental agencies
- Deliver high-quality projects and ensure client satisfaction to contribute to company growth
- Relevant work experience in civil engineering (preferred for candidates with experience in Washington)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD (preferred)
