Job Description

This position involves collaborating with team members to design residential, commercial, and industrial site projects, including tasks such as site layout, utility design, stormwater management, permitting, and assisting with project development and client communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including conceptual site layout and grading analyses
  • Prepare reports such as site analysis, cost estimates, utility computations, stormwater management, and earthwork analysis
  • Assist in producing final construction drawings and permit applications
  • Collaborate with project team members and clients on project design and communication
  • Support project managers and participate in business development efforts
  • Attend client and public meetings to discuss project progress and design

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
  • 0-2 years related experience in engineering or a similar field
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus
  • Valid driver's license
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a variety of people
  • Ability to respond quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in the English language
  • Availability to work nights and weekends as necessary to complete projects
  • Physical ability to frequently sit and talk or hear, and occasionally stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Willingness to work in outside weather conditions occasionally for extended periods

Compensation range: $67,000 - $80,400 USD
