Job Description

The Director of Account Management at Ascend Analytics leads and develops a team of account managers to ensure client success, deepen relationships, and drive revenue growth by aligning solutions with client needs in the energy market sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of account managers to foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Enhance the operating cadence of the account management team to achieve a Gross Revenue Retention (GRR) of 90%.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients to maximize value from Ascend Analytics solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Analytics) to align client needs with innovative solutions.
  • Develop strategies to strengthen client relationships, increase adoption, and ensure long-term success.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in account management leadership.
  • Experience in managing high-performing account management teams.
  • Skilled at translating complex technical solutions into clear business value for clients.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and grow a team of account managers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Experience developing strategies to strengthen client relationships, increase adoption, and drive long-term success.
  • Proven ability to enhance the operating cadence of the account management team to help ensure Gross Revenue Retention (GRR) of 90%.
  • Experience serving as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them maximize value from solutions.
  • Ability to partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Analytics to align client needs with solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in managing client relationships and driving client and team success proactively.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively translate complex technical solutions into clear business value for clients.

Benefits & Perks

Compensation/salary range: 200,000-215,000 base plus commission, negotiable based on qualifications and experience
