Job Description

A Tax Manager role at a fast-growing CPA and advisory firm, responsible for managing client tax strategies, ensuring compliance, and providing innovative tax solutions within a collaborative and dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee real estate tax engagements for clients
  • Provide tax planning and consulting services related to real estate transactions
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations for real estate clients
  • Identify and develop tax strategies to maximize client opportunities in real estate
  • Coordinate with clients and team members to gather necessary information and deliver services

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax within the real estate industry or related fields.
  • Have a CPA license or equivalent certification recognized in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws applicable to real estate transactions and industries.
  • Show proven expertise in managing and reviewing complex tax returns and planning for real estate clients.
  • Possess excellent analytical skills to interpret and apply tax regulations effectively.
  • Have the ability to develop and implement tax strategies tailored to real estate clients.
  • Possess effective communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members and to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
  • Be capable of leading and mentoring junior staff members in tax-related tasks and projects.
  • Be willing to work in a flexible environment that may include remote and hybrid work arrangements.
  • Meet all educational requirements, including a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
