Job Description
A Tax Manager role within a dynamic and growing CPA and advisory firm, focusing on working with middle to large-sized tax clients, providing tax planning and compliance services, and contributing to the firm's growth and client success.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with middle to large-sized tax clients to prepare and review tax returns and related documentation.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients to optimize their tax positions.
- Assist in identifying tax savings opportunities and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, with a focus on middle to large sized tax clients.
- Have a CPA license or equivalent certification.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Show experience in managing and reviewing complex tax returns and planning for clients.
- Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Have the ability to work with diverse and energetic teams in a collaborative environment.
- Be capable of developing and maintaining client relationships and providing tax advisory services.
- Possess effective communication skills to clearly explain tax concepts and strategies to clients and team members.
- Be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Have a strong understanding of tax software and technology tools used in tax preparation and planning.
- Be committed to continuous learning and professional development in the field of tax.
