Job Description
A Tax Manager at Aprio will lead and manage tax services for middle to large-sized clients, providing strategic advice and ensuring compliance while working within a dynamic, growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with middle to large-sized tax clients to prepare and review tax returns and filings.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients to optimize their tax positions.
- Assist in identifying tax savings opportunities and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role overseeing tax engagements.
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations relevant to middle to large-sized tax clients.
- Show experience in managing and forming relationships with middle to large-sized tax clients.
- Be able to work with diverse and energetic teams within a collaborative environment.
- Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Have the ability to innovate and bring ideas to help grow the firm and improve tax services.
- Be willing to work full-time in a position that may include remote and hybrid work arrangements.
