Job Description
A Senior Tax Associate in the Technology Industry at Aprio will support clients with tax planning and compliance, leveraging expertise to help maximize opportunities, within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients in maximizing their tax opportunities within the technology industry
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for clients
- Research complex tax issues and provide strategic tax planning advice
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in tax, specifically within the technology industry or a related field.
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
- Demonstrate proficiency in preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities.
- Show strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the technology industry.
- Have experience in tax planning, consulting, and advisory services for clients in the technology sector.
- Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively support client needs and collaborate with team members.
- Be able to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Have a thorough understanding of tax software and technology tools used in tax preparation and compliance.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, including staying current with changes in tax laws and industry trends.
