Job Description
A Senior Tax Associate at Aprio will work with a dynamic team to provide tax services to middle to large-sized clients, focusing on manufacturing and international technology industries, while contributing to client opportunities and firm growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with tax planning and compliance related to manufacturing and international technology industries.
- Prepare and review tax returns and related documentation for middle to large-sized clients.
- Provide tax advisory services to optimize clients' tax positions and opportunities.
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and deliver solutions.
- Stay current on tax laws and regulations affecting manufacturing and international technology sectors.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in tax, with a focus on manufacturing and international technology sectors.
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA license or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Demonstrate proficiency in preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns for middle to large-sized clients.
- Have experience working with complex tax issues related to manufacturing and international technology industries.
- Show ability to work with diverse and energetic teams in a collaborative environment.
- Be able to communicate effectively with clients and team members across different locations and languages.
- Possess knowledge of current tax laws and regulations relevant to manufacturing and international technology sectors.
- Be capable of identifying tax planning opportunities and providing strategic tax advice to clients.
- Have experience in managing multiple client engagements and meeting deadlines.
- Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail in tax compliance and planning.
- Be willing to work in a flexible working environment, including remote and hybrid options.
- Be committed to continuous learning and professional growth in the tax field.
