Job Description
A Senior Manager in International Tax Services at Aprio is responsible for leading and managing international tax strategies, providing expert guidance to clients, and supporting the growth and development of the firm's tax practice within a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee international tax planning and compliance for clients
- Provide strategic tax advice to clients on international tax issues
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and filings
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in international tax services or related field.
- Experience working with a CPA and advisory firm in providing international tax services.
- Strong understanding of international tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage and lead tax projects and teams in an international context.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members across different regions and languages.
- Ability to develop and implement international tax strategies for clients.
- Experience with tax planning, compliance, and consulting for multinational corporations.
- Knowledge of U.S. tax laws as they relate to international transactions and cross-border issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a focus on client service.
- Physical ability to work in an office environment, with flexibility for remote or hybrid work arrangements.
