Job Description
A Senior Manager in Customs Tariffs at Aprio will lead and manage customs tariff strategies, helping clients optimize their import/export operations and ensure compliance with regulations within a dynamic and growth-oriented advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee customs tariffs compliance and planning for clients
- Advise clients on customs regulations, tariffs, and trade policies
- Develop strategies to optimize clients' customs duties and import/export processes
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience working with customs tariffs or related fields, demonstrating a strong understanding of customs regulations and compliance.
- Have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as International Trade, Customs Law, Tax, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate experience in managing or leading projects or teams related to customs tariffs or international trade compliance.
- Show proficiency in analyzing and interpreting customs regulations, tariffs, and trade laws to advise clients effectively.
- Possess strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams, and to present complex information clearly.
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Be capable of developing and implementing strategies related to customs tariffs to maximize client opportunities.
- Be willing to work in a flexible working environment, including remote and hybrid options, as required by the firm.
