Job Description
A Senior Audit Manager at Aprio leads client audits, providing financial insights to help private and closely-held companies minimize risk, build stronger stakeholder relationships, and make confident business decisions, all within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Help clients maximize opportunities and make confident business decisions
- Provide trusted financial insights to private and closely-held companies
- Minimize client risk through assurance and audit processes
- Build stronger relationships with lenders and stakeholders
- Ensure clear communication and seamless audit processes
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting or a related field, with a focus on assurance and auditing services.
- Have a CPA license or equivalent certification recognized in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Demonstrate proven expertise in leading and managing audit engagements for private and closely-held companies.
- Exhibit strong knowledge of accounting standards, auditing procedures, and regulatory requirements applicable to assurance services.
- Possess excellent communication skills to facilitate clear and effective communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Able to provide trusted financial insights that help minimize risk and support clients in making confident business decisions.
- Show leadership skills with the ability to oversee and mentor audit team members and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Have a thorough understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance requirements relevant to assurance engagements.
- Be capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, lenders, and stakeholders through trusted partnerships.
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing client needs and regulatory landscapes.
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and continuous learning, including support for CPA certification and ongoing education.
