Job Description
The Audit Leader will oversee manufacturing audit engagements, lead a team of professionals, and help clients optimize their opportunities through strategic assurance services within a fast-growing, innovative CPA and advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee manufacturing audit engagements.
- Manage audit planning, execution, and reporting processes.
- Supervise and mentor audit team members.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and firm policies.
- Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients.
Requirements
- Significant manufacturing experience relevant to the audit leadership role.
- Experience in leading or managing audit engagements within the manufacturing industry.
- Ability to oversee and execute audit procedures in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, operations, and related financial reporting requirements.
- Proven leadership skills to manage and mentor audit team members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members at various levels.
- Ability to identify and address complex accounting and auditing issues specific to manufacturing companies.
- Experience in planning, executing, and completing audits for manufacturing clients.
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to manufacturing industry audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Possession of a CPA license or equivalent professional certification.
- Demonstrated experience in a public accounting or CPA firm environment, with a focus on manufacturing clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to manufacturing financial statements and internal controls.
