Job Description
A Senior AI Research Engineer specializing in Visual Perception will develop advanced AI, machine learning, and sensing technologies for autonomous robotic inspection systems, contributing to research, prototyping, and deployment of innovative solutions in mobile robotics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced AI, machine-learning, and sensing technologies for autonomous robotic inspection.
- Assess new technologies and design proof-of-concept experiments.
- Build research prototypes and transfer promising ideas into products.
- Collaborate with engineers and partners to evaluate and refine robotic systems.
- Shape the technology roadmap to ensure solutions are robust, reliable, and impactful.
Requirements
- Proven experience in building cutting-edge AI, machine-learning, and sensing technologies, from early exploration to real-world deployment challenges.
- Ability to assess new technologies, design proof-of-concept experiments, build research prototypes, and transfer promising ideas to products.
- Experience collaborating with engineers and partners to develop autonomous robotic inspection solutions.
- Strong research background in autonomous systems, robotics, or related fields with a focus on perception technologies.
- Demonstrated capability to shape technology roadmaps, guide long-term strategy, and ensure solutions are robust and reliable for industrial applications.
